The idea for this piece was to combine the aesthetic of vintage french post cards with the writings of H.P.Lovecraft. The tentacles represent fear, anxiety and circumstances beyond our control while the bare plant and bird's nest symbolize the life left behind. Ultimately this piece is about the choices we make, the uncertainty that comes with them and the things we leave behind.
