This is based upon the Film Gandahar which features a female character with wings on her head. The idea of wings makes me think of freedom and liberation, so to have a winged head is to have a mind above earthly limitations. The alternate faces represent her connection with all possible selves, past and present, as the birds fly off to new worlds and a new tomorrow.
